Is Yoga for Me?

As long as one is willing, no one is too old or too stiff or tiered. Iyengar yoga method can guide students of all ages and physical condition to yogic experience that is profound, intelligent and transformational.

Suggestions

  • Arrive to class a few minutes before, give yourself time to register and set up for class so you don’t miss any of your yoga practice. If you are visiting the studio for the first time please arrive at least 10 minutes before the class to fill in the form.
  • Practice on an empty stomach, don’t eat 3hours before class, you may drink half an hour before.

  • Come to class hydrated, water is contraindicated during practice. Remove your shoes upon entry, yoga ispracticed bear foot.

  • Turn your cell phones off and leave them outside the practice room.

  • Wear comfortable and modest clothing. Refrain from wearing perfumes or scented lotions some people are allergic to those. Let the teacher know if you are pregnant or on your monthly cycle before starting the class.

  • Please advise your teacher before attending class if you have any significant health issues, (surgeries, injuries, high blood pressure etc.)
